4 on the Ground

Post by Speedster »

Will wonders never cease??? We took 3rd place today in the Northwest District which has the 4 on the Ground Rule. The race was run on a 40' Freedom track, super smooth and a bunch of Great, very kind guys, running the race. What a joy it was to talk with them. Our average time was 3.02 and the first 2 cars were 2.99 something, something. The inspection was being done by Boy Scouts and they were satisfied with the inspection box and the weight. I was glad of that because I think none of our 4 wheels pointed in the same direction. The 1st two cars were wafer cars and they were a Joy to behold. They dominated the last 18" of the track. Super Great time had by all.
Cheers,
Bill
