Anyone use the TS100 (TimeStopper) timer?
Anyone use the TS100 (TimeStopper) timer?
I am in the market of replacing my single lane NewBold timer. I am looking at the TS100 timer from Intelligent Automation Company. They are also sold at MaxV web site.
Anyone with experience with this timer?
Thanks!

Although we don't use the Timestopper timer, we did look at it and all the others before our purchase. We went with The Judge because it can be used with or without a computer. The Judge doesn't require an overhead light and has lights on the finish line bar where all spectators can see the finish order immediately. They have some left over inventory at some good deals. That's what we bought. Which ever type you pick you'll like much better than not having one. Good luck with your search!

I am still looking at purchasing this timer and wonder what others experience has been.
This is just for me and my kids testing car design. Just need 1 lane.
It is amazing there are so few products available. The only two that seem exceptable at a relatively low price is the NewBold and this one.

The makers of "The Judge" at http://www.newdirections.ws/faq.htm#Q13 offer a single lane timer. I have one and it works great.
Re: Anyone use the TS100 (TimeStopper) timer?
I looked at the judge and found it somewhat confusing what I needed.
MaxV what pieces do you have? I assume I need the E.T. Timing for one lane, $99. But not sure what else I need.
Also I want to use on two different tracks. I think you might be in the same boat. Have you tried this? I assume I could just attach to a board and then place the board next to the track instead of mounting to the track.
Basically I just want to do timings for one lane.

You can find the single lane timer at:
http://www.newdirections.ws/faq.htm#Q13
It is self-contained, and includes the timer, the sensor, the trigger switch and all cabling.
I think you have to call to order it.
