Lane Brain Repair

Post by PWD_addict »

A fellow PWD chair in another Pack has one of their four sensors that isn't working right on their Lane Brain.

I haven't yet taken a look at it but he is wondering if there is someone who knows about these that may be able to fix it.

Any thoughts? I'll ask him if it may be still under warranty (5 years).

The scout website seems to have a replacement sensor. "Electronic Finish Line Replacement Detector"

Good one Randy!! I didn't know that the Lane Brain was the standard BSA lane judge. BTW, their timer is way out of warranty. I'll take a look at it soon and see if I can fix it and if not, a new sensor will be ordered.

It's all good news. The other Scout leader was able to re-align the faulty sensor and it seems to be working well now! Thanks for the info!
