Using Grandprixe Race Management software to upload codes into a Fast Track Timer
Need a little help,
We have a Micro Wizard Fast Track timer model K3. When we got the timer we never purchased the serial interface option. Now that we have race software I need to update the timer to allow communications between the timer and software. I purchased the update codes from Micro Wizard. Can you use the Grandprix Race Management software to upload the codes to the time so that they can communicate?
Thanks
Eric

Yes, you can use the Send Command feature on the Hardware Settings screen.

Assuming that you've already selected Fast Track as the timer and your COM port, do the following.
- Click on the Start Testing button
- Enter the command in the Command box
- Click on the Send Command button

Fortunately, Micro Wizard stopped selling that interface separately. So, when you now buy a timer from them, it comes with the serial interface enabled.
