Boy could our local area learn from the lane dividers and less aggressive ramps...
and was that real timer system?
(we have volunteers with a stopwatch who usually don't even know when to time the cars... from the moment they move or some thought to start the clock at the bottom of the ramp and BOY did we have some FAST runs as a result... no reruns either... hahahah!)
Well, that was all last year... we are already out of the CMB business as of this year and we didn't even go to this year's race.

As far as I know our town has never held a cubmobile event so we are hoping it will be a big hit and possibly recruit more scouts as well.
The ramps look very well made, does the starting gate hold the back axle or the front axle before release?
"Do or Do Not, There is No Try"
The ramps, hold the front wheel.
the ramps 3 feet high, 4feet wide, 16 feet long.
the starting gate lever is 52 1/2 inches forward from the rear edge of the back.
So cars longer than 52 do not fit. all we allow is 52 inch long cars.
There is talk of adding safety sides and a back support to prevent car drop off on the back end of the ramps.
a double elim char was used, usually they us brh solutions double elim software.
Thanks for the kinds words.
