I found out about CO2 racing recently from a software customer of mine. Seems like a very cool type of race!
Here's a site with some good info if you want to check it out.
Some of you Pineheads might need a new challenge. This could be it.
Awana Grand Prix and Pinewood Derby racing - Where a child, an adult and a small block of wood combine for a lot of fun and memories.

I loved CO2 racing when I was a kid! When I was in middle school we had to build a CO2 car in shop class. After everyone was finished the shop teacher set up the brackets and we raced to determine class champ. Then the class champs wouild race off at an assembly. The final race was always the school champ against the Shop teacher. Mr. Harris always won! The man had a 2 wheeler that was barely big enough to hold a cartridge. I was carved to look like a mouse with racing goggles.
Man, hadn't about that in years!
