Here our some pictures, Still in work phase.
I can say, The wood is for me harder then I would like, And if you follow the rules. Its not all as easy as i thought it would be to try and shape and cut.
In all, this was a harder first experience, then I first thought it would be. And the axle and wholes, Not looking to be very good either.
But this is for fun and first try, what can we exspect after all.
Were in paint stage, should be able to post a update On Sunday.
Now this is going to be a Blast.. Stay tuned!
Now Sporty.. you do know that you dont want any drift on the DFW..
and that you'll might want to extend the eye lets out to help the car track down the string better.. (Don't yah! )
The Blast car's are look'n good Sporty!!!
Hard work, not at all please with the turn out, Axle wholes were a nightmare, But kids still like and will do some decals.
I think it would be much easier if the wood was softer to work with.
I did see they sell the tool, worked wheels and grooved axles for these cars.
I had no interest or the money to buy all that stuff. For perhaps a 1 time build.
My oldest son will be 17 this year and except for his eagle scout project, hes done and my younger son, Does not seem to be interested in boy scouts and does nto seem to be long for staying in. But will have to wait and see. I know he misses allot.
Im not even sure they are going to make it over next weekend for them to go and run them.
