Filling in the 'dead' time

Post by PhantomVirus »

I came across this questionnaire online and we used it today - it was GREAT.

The cubmaster & I MC'ed the race using the info that the cubs provided and several parents came up to me later to tell me how much fun it was to listen to us adding "color" to the races.

Feel free to use / modify this and share if you have any good content or questions

We hand wrote the car #'s and the weight onto the sheets - we used the NOW WEIGINING IN AT 4.997 ounces talk track. people loved it. MUCH better than Gangnam Style or other top 40 music

At our District race this weekend, we had a Boy Scout as announcer & MC (one of several working many areas of the event) - it turned out great.

In between ranks, we had a computer with a MP3 player playing a mix of "road tunes" over the PA. Had 3 hours of music set up (50 songs) - and the last song finished just before the finals. :D
