Mark,
Very cool. What's the COM with all those nuts and bolts? I like the wheels. I am beginning to appreciate how hard it is to paint them.

You should try tweeting that to Sears and see if they respond. I tweeted my son's banana split car to Baskins and Robbins, thinking we might at least get a coupon out of the deal, but they ignored me... :idk:

Thanks Darin, Yeah I'm a little nuts about building these cars.
It did make for cool looking driver and a weight system for the car though.

Sound's like and  but I don't have twitter and I'd try to ignore that while driveing. ;)

Seth, for this car the COM is set for 1in, but I can change it up for S shaped tracks by
threading a smaller bolt in the front also.
Right now the weight of the car is dead on 5oz as it is in the photo.
To change it up I remove the roll cage and un-thread the bolt.
And put in one that has been cut down on the threads and shaved down on head of the bolt.

Painting the wheels lettering and spokes can be challenging some times.
Glad you like them Seth.

I like the idea of a screwdriver car.. Darin has one on his site.
:idk: maybe a Beltsander car (wood) be a nice challenge.

Yep, that's it. When I was a kid, I played it on our "Goofy Greats" 8-track tape over and over and over. In college, we listened to the Dr. Demento show every Sunday night, and he played it quite a bit.

Cool concept, Whoda. The perspective next to the WD-40 can makes it look tiny. Is it really that small or is it standard scale?

Paul,
In scale it's 1:24th, The WD-40 can makes it look small in the photos though.
