Plumb Crazy!

Post by whodathunkit »

After seeing Randy's
Cool looking Scud Launcher for the Mid-America class b big rig race.

I just can't let him have all the fun with all the wheels! ;)
It was fun to build a semi truck to race in this class last year.
However.. It was a press for time to get one built and sent off in time for the race.

I must be plum crazy to try it once more..
But i'm going to give this rig design a go at it this year.
Hope to get started on the semi truck build in the new year.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Thank's Joe!

Back in 1946 just after WWII.
The Eisenhauer Manufacturing Co.
Made a 5 axle semi truck along these lines.

But after seeing Randy's scud launcher..
And Eli's BMW 2419 car with all the wheels in a 7 axle set up.
I thought it would be fun to build a 7 axle semi truck along these lines for a change.

Anyway the truck drawing is what i'm looking forward to the truck looking somewhat like.
I may do a few design changes along the way of building the truck as i'm not set on the truck design.

To see more of the truck build look in car & semi truck construction.
