Ford Motor Company has been putting on a series of races for Girl Scouts in four major cities (Detroit, Dallas, Miami, and New Jersey) to get girls interested in design and engineering. I've had the pleasure of helping out at two of those races. I was thoroughly impressed with how Ford has gone all out to provide a great race experience for the girls, with the Match Marketing Group coordinating the races. There is even talk of doing more races in 2017. I think that it is great for the girls to get involved in this sport and I'd like to see this grow more with Girl Scouts. Cub Scouts shouldn't be the ones having all of the fun.

I can see it now. A National Race between the Cub Scouts and the Girl Scouts. That is going to be interesting.
