Space Derby without the BSA Kits

Post by gpraceman » Tue Oct 24, 2006 7:29 pm

My pack will be doing a Space Derby next month, but they will be handing out the kits the night of the race. These are definitely not the BSA rocket kits. It sounds like these are more like rubber band powered airplanes. The pack wants to keep the event very low key, not like a PWD with all of the competitiveness, trophies, etc.

I don't know if this is going to work out, especially hooking them up to the lines on the track. There is going to be a test run on Thursday to see if the concept will "fly".

Has anyone tried doing a Space Derby without the BSA kits?
