Re: 2023 West Coast Grand Prix

Thank you so much for sending your AWESOME realistic Big Rigs and Charlie's Hummer. The attention to detail on Bobcat is unbelievable!! I hardly got any pictures. I was running all over the place and staging all the cars and rigs. The volunteers started packing up and it didn't make sense to unbox t...

Re: Wheel Base - Question

VK said it. You said it. Just know it is more about moving the weight of the wheels and axles back then it is about when the front wheels are on the flat. Also, you significantly reduce aerodynamics with no fenders. The only "pro" cars without fenders are the ones where the rules do not al...

Re: I didn't start the fire

Whoda I doubt that will work. One of the problems with hardwood and plastic is you don't have that squeeze on the axles. They are almost always too tight or too loose. They are rarely just right.
But, don't toss it. There are other options.

Re: Homemade Decals

Hoping to learn more myself. I have actually used pictures. A little thick and thought to fit other than flat. Then it's how do you protect them. If design or original has 6 wheels be sure to check out Big Rig C class at the 70th Anniversary Celebration at http://www.TheWestCoastGrandPrix.com It wou...

Re: A 3D printed Drill Guide...worthy idea or not?

whodathunkit that is great info. I didn't know about the size on the PinewoodPro. They sponsored http://www.TheWestCoastGrandPrix.com this year. A couple of the jigs were included. I was happy to not have to keep transporting my jig(s) back and forth. It seemed like when I needed one it was already ...

Re: A 3D printed Drill Guide...worthy idea or not?

VK there are so many things you could do, but spending your time to recreate what has already been done well doesn't seem like a good use for it. If someone wants the best repeatable drills then they have to look at one of the money options. Best thing, just like the track, is for the troop to make ...

Those fenders, caps, foil, and the sharpie details took that rig from ok to super cool. Amazing work for 1 day!

Re: Mini Semi Trucks design change's

Too bad it doesn't have 6 wheels. This would be a cool idea to race in the Big Rig C Class at the 70th Anniversary Celebration at http://www.TheWestCoastGrandPrix.com
