Diecast Car Start Gate

Post by gpraceman »

New for the 2008-2009 racing season is our Diecast Car Start Gate! Turn your BestTrack™ or Micro Wizard™ (formerly Piantedosi Oars) aluminum track into a diecast car race track!

It's a fun activity for your kids that aren't yet old enough to participate in your regular derby race. The older kids have fun with it as well. The kids can just bring their favorite Hot Wheels®, Matchbox®, or other diecast cars. Just load them and race!

Features:
+ Fits BestTrack and Micro Wizard (formerly Piantedosi Oars) brand aluminum tracks.
+ Available for 3, 4, 6 and 8 lane tracks.
+ Magnetic catch keeps the gate closed during car loading.
+ A flick of the wrist opens the gate, releasing the cars.
+ Quickly change back to the regular start gate for your derby race.
+ Cars run between the regular lanes.
+ Shipped unassembled, as a kit, or assembled.

Bringing this out of obscurity...

Randy, how does one run Hot Wheels and MatchBox cars down the center guide rail? Do only certain Hot Wheel cars work? My district has a Best Track, and they tried this yesterday after I mentioned it, and the cars would not fit inside the guide rail.

I've not seen this but from the description below it sounds like the cars run between lanes, not between the center guide rails.
